Ouch.

Unfortunately, we discovered this morning that our new camera had disappeared during our travels to DC. Obviously, we're bummed out by this. If you were there to see us off, please check your jacket pockets.... Failing that, timetravel and hand it to us when we get off the plane. Not only will we get our camera back, but you can also tell us lotto numbers. Seriously, make it count. I mean, if you're going to break the laws of physics, you might as well get rich off it as well.

We went to Wallyworld (as Isaac calls it) and got a new camera. Not as nice as the old new camera, but it should hopefully keep us in photos for you all.

There's a bit of an emotional roller coaster that you go on when you realize that a) you're leaving the country b) all of your stuff is held by 4 bags and c) some of it isn't there anymore. It's hard giving up everything else - this little extra piece is just a bit harder to handle than we expected. It puts a bit of a pall on everything.

It's exciting to think that tomorrow marks the official beginning to our journey....

Okay, that really sucks. I remember seeing your camera during all of the group shots, so I know that you had it then. If no one accidentally picked it up, I'm guessing that a security person stole it out of your bag whilst you were going thru security. Sorry!

As an aside, it makes it easier to tell who is talking if you sign your name :-)
