Chemi Skola (My School)

Well, now that I've experienced 4 days at my school, I thought I should post some pictures, so you can see where I spend my day. In some of my summer camp pictures, you probably saw a bit of one of the classrooms and the big hall (for some unknown reason, all schools in Georgia have big, huge halls; I don't know what they were/are used for, but my school actually has two, on the 2nd and 3rd floors). Anyway, here are the pictures:
1.My school building (chemi skola shenoba, for those who want to know the Georgian)
2.The statue outside my school—that's Shota Rustaveli again (by the way, if you look at the full-image size, it says in Georgian script on the front “Shota Rustaveli,” so you can see what that Georgian script equivalent looks like)
3.This is the beginning of my school's museum—what, your school doesn't have a museum? How could it survive without old pictures, dusty glass cabinets, and black and white pictures of teachers from the past?
4.The rest of the school museum (the door on the right side goes to the computer room)
5.A view of the hills and river from outside my school

Thanks again Carissa for the wonderful post and pictures! Your school looks really lovely, for a school, at least, and the view is way better than any school I ever attended. We're here in London on vacation, where I have exhausted Doug with all the walking and museums. And, this is only the second day! Love to you both, Barbara
